Club 50 launched in 2020 as an initiative developed to help women in our community who are above the age of 50 and are struggling with personal and family issues. The club meets every second week to talk about experiences and problems and how to deal with them over a cup of coffee and some food.

Many have been through so much in their lifetime and it becomes difficult to open up and discuss these matters as they have few people to share their issues with. We create a space for women to come and meet people with similar experiences for inspiration, motivation and support.

The objective of Club 50 is to inspire women to live a better and happy life and to strengthen and comfort each other, as we go through a lot in our society and are still expected to function fully. Women also walk home with food parcels after sessions to support their families.

If you are a woman who is 50+ and would like to find out more information or would like to participate in our gatherings, please get in touch with our office. Wathint’abafazi wathint mbokotho, umntu ngumntu ngabantu.
